Natural Gas Tape Bomb - Massive Blast higher off 10 year lows on Chesapeake News

This morning of January 23rd 2012, a tape bomb hit the wires that Chesapeake Energy Corp (ticker CHK) would be cutting its gas production in response to falling gas prices. This was after last Thursday's after the Futures News Trading the Weekly EAI Natural Gas Storage Change continued its strong downtrend.

The tape bomb hit the wires about 12:00 GMT (7:00 EST) however the Natural Gas contract had been slowly grinding higher through-out the European morning trading session from $2.25 to $2.28, popping its head above $2.3 about 25 minutes later 'Tape Bomb' before it grabbed the headlines and started to spike.
